Forecasters say highs will rise from the upper 60s this weekend to the low 80s by Tuesday and Wednesday.
Gusty northeast winds may reach 35 to 45 mph in canyon and ridge areas Thursday morning, with isolated gusts up to 55 mph in the windiest mountain locations. Pasadena will experience lighter breezes as the offshore flow peaked, forecasters said.
Thursday’s high will reach near 70 under sunny skies, with winds shifting west-southwest in the afternoon. Overnight lows will drop to the mid-40s, continuing cold conditions across the region.
Friday and Saturday will remain sunny, with highs near 69 and lows in the mid-40s. Winds will weaken, shifting to light southwest breezes, according to the forecast.
By Sunday, highs will rise to 74, followed by 76 Monday. The warming trend will peak Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs reaching 80 to 81. Forecasters said valley locations could see isolated readings near 90.
No precipitation is expected during the period. Offshore flow will limit cloud cover, keeping skies clear across Pasadena and surrounding areas.
The extended forecast calls for continued warming into midweek, with overnight lows rising into the low 50s. Clear skies are expected to persist as offshore flow continues.
