626 Night Market Returns to Santa Anita Park for Summer Festival

Asian-inspired bazaar brings food, entertainment to Southern California
Published on Aug 14, 2024

626 Night Market, a popular Asian-inspired open-air festival, returns to Santa Anita Park in Arcadia from Aug. 23 to 25. The event, now in its 12th year, will feature over 300 vendors offering a diverse array of food, merchandise, and entertainment.

Established in 2012, 626 Night Market draws its name from the area code of San Gabriel Valley, northeast of Los Angeles. The festival aims to recreate the vibrant atmosphere of nighttime bazaars found throughout Asia, where communities gather to eat, drink, and socialize.

Visitors can expect a wide range of attractions, including local culinary offerings, arts and crafts, games, and live music performances. The event organizers emphasize their mission to unite and empower the community by serving as a platform for showcasing local talent.

The market will be open from 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with doors closing at 10:40 p.m. Attendees are advised to arrive early, preferably before 8 p.m., to avoid the dinner rush, traffic congestion, parking issues, and bag check lines.

Tickets for the event are available both online and at the door, with limited availability at the gate. Presale prices start at $5.77 and day-of-event prices at $6.82, including Eventbrite fees. Tickets are available through this Eventbrite link

Children under three years old are admitted free of charge. Organizers recommend downloading the Eventbrite app and QR codes for tickets in advance to avoid wait times.

Event organizers also caution attendees to be wary of potential scammers selling counterfeit tickets and recommend purchasing tickets only through official channels.

For the 2024 season, the 626 Night Market is introducing a non-transferable season pass option, granting unlimited access to all of their listed events. This new offering aims to provide added value for frequent attendees, but comes with a no-refund policy.

The market’s location at Santa Anita Park, 285 W. Huntington Drive in Arcadia, offers free parking for all visitors. Pets are not allowed due to venue policy, with exceptions made for service animals.

For ticket inquiries or concerns about Arcadia events, attendees can contact Santa Anita Park, which manages the ticketing, at TICKET.OFFICE@santaanita.com
