Marshall Fundamental School’s Instrumental Music Department will entertain you with “A Winter Concert” on Wednesday, December 8, starting at 5 p.m. at the school’s North Quad.
This afternoon concert will feature Marshall School’s Band and Orchestra students as they perform holiday music. Jacob Melgoza is directing the Band, and Heather King is directing the Orchestra.
Members of the Band and Orchestra are students taking the Academy for Creative Industries’ (ACI) Music Track, where they can choose to sing in any of four choral groups, or play in the Orchestra, the Traditional Band, or the Jazz or Studio Band.
The ACI is part of Pasadena Unified School District’s College and Career Pathway Program and prepares students for various creative pathways to college and careers.
“A Winter Concert” is free to attend at the North Quad, at 990 N. Allen Ave.
