Twenty-five years later, the Grammy Award-winning ensemble brings their revolutionary sound to Sierra Madre Playhouse on Saturday, August 9 at 11 a.m.
The group’s journey from upstart ensemble to musical institution includes two Grammy Awards and seven Grammy nominations as of 2016, making them one of the most decorated mariachi groups in the United States.
Their latest milestone is the 2024 release of their 20th album, “25 Aniversario,” featuring guest artist Becky G on the single “Bluetooth.” The recording celebrates their quarter-century of redefining mariachi music.
Since September 2003, Mariachi Divas have served as the official mariachi of Disneyland Resort, performing year-round at Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney.
This prestigious residency has exposed millions to authentic mariachi while showcasing the ensemble’s exceptional artistry.
The Sierra Madre performance is part of the Music @ the Playhouse series, which showcases culturally significant musical experiences to the community.
