NickFest, the “messiest music festival ever,” a two-day extravaganza of music’s biggest acts and Nickelodeon characters and stars in real life, will be happening at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena in October.
Dubbed by the Nickelodeon TV network as the “Ultimate Nickelodeon Experience,” NickFest will feature lots of family-friendly activities and experiences, exceptional food, and “a ridiculous amount of slime.”
“Lovers of Nick nostalgia will be in heaven, kids will have a blast, and moms and dads will earn the most Cool Parent points allowed by law,” the network said. “Whether you’re 5 or 105, get ready to let your Nick flag fly!”
Nickelodeon said NickFest will have three stages for those two days, October 22 and 23, and whether it’s your kids’ first concert, or your hundred-and-first, you’ll be blown away by performances from A-list music acts all weekend long.
NickFest will feature exceptional festival food – top-notch fare inspired by the Nick shows you love and created by celebrated chefs and restaurants from the Los Angeles area.
In between the snacks and musical acts, there’s boatloads to do – from rides to a haunted house to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle training course.
“There’s something for Nickelodeon superfans and families of all ages. Always dreamed of getting slimed? This is your chance,” the announcement said.
Of course, it wouldn’t be NickFest without your favorite Nickelodeon actors, artists, and invertebrates – as in Mr. SquarePants – all there to join the party.
NickFest is an all-ages festival meant for fans of music, fans of food, and/or fans of Nickelodeon. If you like any of those, then NickFest is for you.
