Simply Divine Academy is offering a 30% tuition discount to the first 25 enrollees at its new Altadena location, making career training more accessible for aspiring beauty professionals.
The beauty school will celebrate this expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 30 at 12:30 p.m., before welcoming its inaugural class in September.
“We are thrilled to invite you to our Ribbon-Cutting/Grand Opening ceremony in Altadena on August 30 at 12:30 p.m., as we welcome our first students!” said owner Keshia Darden in her announcement.

The new campus at 431 E Woodbury Rd. will provide diploma and certificate programs in Barbering, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Manicuring. Instruction will be available in both English and Spanish, with flexible full-time or part-time scheduling options.
Darden founded Simply Divine Academy in 2013, building on her experience as a salon owner and educator. The institution has operated in the beauty education industry for over 30 years, developing a reputation for student-focused, hands-on training.
The academy’s curriculum integrates classroom education with practical experience to prepare students for California State Board examinations. A notable feature is its apprenticeship program, which allows students to earn income while completing their training—creating a more affordable pathway compared to traditional beauty schools.
The school reports strong student outcomes, with some recent cohorts achieving 100% on-time graduation rates.
