The hour-long tour starting at 9 a.m. will introduce visitors to Descanso’s camellia collections and provide an introduction to rare and exotic camellias.
Arian Noorzai brings extensive experience from prestigious institutions including the Denver Zoo, San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, and Getty Center and Villa.
His journey in horticulture began during his studies at the American University of Cairo, where he grew okra for low-income families.
The walking tour, which requires no advance registration, will commence at Center Circle and is included with regular garden admission or membership to Descanso Gardens.
