Castle Green 99 South Raymond Avenue will welcome visitors for its Springtime tour on Sunday, June 8, from noon to 4:00 p.m. Be a time traveler and step back 125 years to tour the historic Castle Green, and proceeds benefit Friends restoration projects.
The tour provides access to the building’s Moorish and Turkish rooms, Grand Salon, and palm-filled sunroom. Select private apartments will be open throughout the building, each uniquely different. Hidden treasures from the Castle’s archive room will be displayed, along with reproduced veranda hanging lanterns with opaline glass shades.
Visitors can see the amazing Castle Green replica created by ceramic master Rubio Lief Kallis. The tour is self-guided with two historic lectures occurring during the afternoon.
The tour showcases recent restoration achievements, with the restoration of the bridge dome completed summer 2024.
Tickets at Eventbrite: Springtime at the Castle Green. Early Bird tickets are priced at $40.00 per ticket before May 15, 2025, with regular admission at $50.00 per ticket from May 16 through June 8, 2025.
Be aware there are steps into the building and six flights of stairs to view the open apartments. Limited elevator service is available for those with mobility issues.

There are two public parking structures available. Street parking in the area requires coins. School House Parking Structure is located at 33 East Green Street. Del Mar Station Parking is at 230 South Raymond Avenue. This is also a Metro stop.
