For chess enthusiasts seeking additional opportunities, the Los Angeles Chess Social, self-described as the largest non-ACF chess club on the West Coast with meetings averaging 90 members per week, hosts regular events around in Pasadena at venues like Old Pasadena Pub and Griffins of Kinsale.
