On the evening of May 18, the Annandale Golf Club in Pasadena was transformed into a vibrant nautical haven for Foothill Family’s annual gala and auction, Bon Voyage. Attendees, dressed in their finest maritime attire, gathered to support mental health and early childhood development services for underserved children and families in the community.
The event, which serves as the organization’s most important fundraiser of the year, brought together community leaders, supporters, and advocates. The elegant setting of the Annandale Golf Club provided the perfect backdrop for an evening dedicated to raising essential funds for Foothill Family’s programs. These initiatives are aimed at helping families navigate life’s challenges, offering a secure environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes.
Guests enjoyed a lively evening featuring entertainment from the yacht rock band Members Only Yacht Club and DJ Blake Cross. Maritime-themed cocktails and delectable hors d’oeuvres set the stage for a festive atmosphere, complemented by a casino after-party with live music. The highlight of the night was the live and silent auctions, conducted through mobile bidding, which offered a variety of items, from local dining experiences to exclusive travel packages.
As the night progressed, attendees were treated to a three-course meal, accompanied by a program filled with moving storytelling that underscored the impact of their support. The evening concluded with guests gathering around the gaming tables, eager to try their luck and win various prizes.
The Bon Voyage gala not only provided an evening of enjoyment but also underscored the community’s collective effort to support Foothill Family’s mission. The funds raised will play a crucial role in continuing the organization’s work in providing vital services to those in need.
