Descanso Gardens Does Halloween With Its Unique Take, As It Presents “Carved”

Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge is bringing back “Carved” in person starting Monday, October 11, featuring exciting new displays and experiences for all ages.

Carved is Descanso Gardens’ unique take on Halloween. For three weeks in October, thousands of carved pumpkins will line a one-mile walk through the Camellia Forest and Oak Grove at the Gardens. Along with pumpkins, visitors will see new oversized sculptures made of sticks and other natural materials.

Carved will also feature pumpkin carving demonstrations, the ever-popular pumpkin house, a hay maze, and themed food and beverage on site helping to create a fun harvest festival ambiance.

Carved will be open from 6:30 to 10 p.m. October 11 through 31. Timed tickets are required for everyone.
