The Pasadena Senior Center will host Dr. Nadine Diaz, a geriatric social worker at the USC Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, in a virtual lecture on Thursday, June 30, on “Brain Health and Aging in Place,” starting at 10 a.m.
Dr. Diaz will talk about the importance of preserving, improving and strengthening memory for optimum brain health while aging in place.
Dr. Diaz completed her Social Work doctorate at USC in 2019, on a USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work Alumni Scholarship. She is the founder of California Brain Health Network and Innovation, an AMN contractor, and adjunct faculty member at California State University-Dominguez Hills.
