The Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena is celebrating Cinco de Mayo on Sunday, May 1, with interactive activities, live entertainment, food, and much, much more during the all-day event.
Cinco de Mayo (Fifth of May) is a yearly celebration that commemorates the anniversary of Mexico’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. It is customarily celebrated in Mexico and throughout the Mexican-American community.
At the Rose Bowl, Cinco de Mayo will be a fun and interactive non-alcoholic family event to reconnect the community with services, resources and information while enjoying live performances and activities throughout the day.
The events include a 5K Run/Walk, health and wellness services, arts and culture activities, and a Cinco de Mayo marketplace.
