Celebrated actor, writer, producer, comedian, and podcaster Brett Goldstein will be performing his live comedy show, “The Second Best Night of Your Life,” at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sunday, Dec. 10.
Best known for his role as Roy Kent in “Ted Lasso,” Goldstein has gained recognition for his Pasadena-based Apple TV+ series “Shrinking,” which showcases the city’s charm. He has also made several appearances at Pasadena’s iconic Ice House Comedy Club, reportedly the oldest comedy club in the nation.
The Pasadena Civic Auditorium, one of the nation’s most revered performance halls, is preparing to host Goldstein.
“Brett Goldstein’s television work has brought great exposure to Pasadena and locals praise his show ‘Shrinking’ for its fantastic portrayal of the city,” Michael Ross, Pasadena Center Operating Company CEO, said. “It’s truly an honor to prepare our legendary stage for such an incredible and multifaceted talent as he brings laughter to Pasadenans and SoCal audiences.”
Presale tickets for Goldstein’s show are available starting today with the code “CIVIC.” The general sale begins on November 22.

The Pasadena Civic Auditorium, which opened in 1932, hosts thousands of events each year, including the NAACP Image Awards, Daytime Emmy Awards, and “America’s Got Talent.” The 3,000-seat theater is part of the Pasadena Civic Center District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
