Live theatre comes to the Bacchus stage! Starring your favorite tall Canadian! *and other Canadians who aren't quite as tall as him... Featuring 'Art' by Yasmina Reza. This performance was supposed to be last month, but due to scheduling Bacchus' Kitchen had to postpone. "Join us for an immersive dinner & show experience!" Starring Kristian Bruun (Orphan Black, The Recruit), Joe Dinicol (Arrow, Nash Bridges), and Brandon Firla (Suits, Bacchus Kitchen). Performance begins at 8pm-ish. Running time is approximately 85min. No intermission. 'Art' is a Tony-Award winning comedy that centers on three friends: Serge, Marc, and Yvan. When Serge buys an expensive painting, it ignites a heated debate about its value, revealing deep-seated tensions. Marc is incredulous, Yvan tries to mediate, and their differing views on 'art' test their friendship. Over the course of a rollicking 85 minutes, this play examines the subjective nature of art and the fragility of human relationships. Thursday night is a preview performance. Friday & Saturday will be a Dinner & Show experience where a 3 course meal inspired by the play will be served before the performance.
