The Playhouse Village Foundation invites the community to A Night Out in Playhouse Village at the iconic Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, featuring comedian Margaret Cho as host, along with comedy, food, and exciting auctions. Thanks to lead sponsor Lagerlof Cares, this annual fundraiser supports the Foundation’s mission to energize and enhance the area’s streets and open spaces. Proceeds will fund free activities at Playhouse Village Park, community art installations, streetscape projects, and other initiatives. Longer-term goals include developing a tree canopy and extended sidewalks on Colorado Boulevard, revitalized streetscapes for North Lake Avenue, and a vibrant entertainment district on Mentor Avenue. As Pasadena’s cultural heart, Playhouse Village aims to create a dynamic urban hub with walkable streets, thriving businesses, and diverse housing options. The community is encouraged to support the event by donating, attending, or becoming a sponsor.
