The Commission on the Status of Women invites the community to HERstory 2025 - Mastering Money: Financial Resilience for Women, taking place in the Learning Center at All Saints Church, Pasadena. Financial literacy plays a crucial role in building confidence, achieving long-term independence, and recovering from unexpected crises. In the aftermath of the Eaton Fires, many women in the community are experiencing financial uncertainty, displacement, or unforeseen expenses, highlighting the importance of financial planning and preparedness. This workshop is designed to empower women at every stage of life by helping them take control of their finances, establish a foundation for security, and develop strategies for financial recovery. Whether facing life transitions, rebuilding after a crisis, advancing in a career, or planning for the future, participants will benefit from expert-led sessions, practical advice, and networking opportunities. Through interactive discussions, expert presentations, and meaningful connections, attendees will gain the tools, resources, and support needed to strengthen and rebuild their financial stability. The workshop will also include group activities and networking opportunities over light refreshments, fostering connections among participants to ensure they leave not only more financially empowered but also part of a supportive community. "Join us and strengthen your financial future!" For more information visit https://www.cityofpasadena.net/event/herstory-2025/ or call (626) 744-7311. Click here to view flyer.
