AbilityFirst invites you to join its signature fundraiser, the 51st annual Food & Wine Festival. Prepare to be dazzled by a tantalizing array of aromas and flavors, with tastings from local chefs, cocktail bars, breweries, and vintners. As you enjoy culinary delights and socialize with friends, you’ll be supporting the 2,000+ adults and children with disabilities served by AbilityFirst every year. These individuals rely on AbilityFirst for a sense of stability, which is more vital than ever for those affected by LA’s recent wildfires. Throughout its 99 years, AbilityFirst has helped individuals with disabilities live a fuller life. Its person-centered programs empower those with autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other disabilities to discover what’s important to them and develop essential skills to achieve their goals. With Event Co-Chairs Anita Lawler and Mary Spellman, the festival promises to be an immersive culinary experience as well as an opportunity to empower individuals with disabilities.
