Maranatha High School Performing Arts presents its Spring Musical "Annie" at the Ambassador Auditorium. A Broadway favorite for generations, Annie tells the heartwarming tale of a young orphan whose unbreakable spirit and optimism transform the lives of those around her. Based on the beloved comic strip by Harold Gray, this Tony Award-winning musical features iconic songs like “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard Knock Life”. Set in 1930s New York City, Annie follows the adventures of its title character as she escapes a dreary orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan and finds herself in the grand home of billionaire Oliver Warbucks. Along the way, she wins over everyone she meets—including President Franklin D. Roosevelt—proving that with determination and hope, anything is possible.
