Free Concert Series Continues at Historic Gamble House With Sunday Performance

Local musicians to perform rock and soul music at Pasadena architectural landmark
Published on Mar 22, 2025

The Gamble House in Pasadena continues its free “Respite Recital at The Gamble House” Arts & Culture concert series with two upcoming performances scheduled for consecutive Sundays in late March.

The outdoor concerts, which take place on the rear terrace of the celebrated architectural landmark, offer visitors an opportunity to enjoy live music in a serene setting.

On Sunday, March 23, Birdhouse Band will perform at the venue from 4 to 5 p.m. The group recently released their first single titled “Paper Crane” in February.

On March 30, attendees can experience the music of Scarlett and the Fever, a Los Angeles band with a vibrant fusion of R&B, neo soul, jazz, ska and reggae, from 4 to 5 p.m.

These performances mark the final two concerts in a month-long series that began earlier in March. Previous performances included the Antonio Carter Quintet playing jazz standards on March 9 and pop music from Sunday the Band on March 16.

The Gamble House describes the concert series as “a celebration of music and community” where visitors can relax and unwind with friends and neighbors.

No tickets or reservations are required for the free events, though seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
