Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena will host the first installment of “Healing Words: A Literary Conversation Series” on Tuesday, April 8, featuring a discussion of “Future-Focused Church,” a new guide for pastors and church leaders navigating change.
The virtual event will feature Fuller Seminary faculty members Kara Powell, Jake Mulder and Ray Chang discussing their work, which the seminary describes as “a hope-filled guide for pastors and church leaders navigating change.”
According to Fuller Seminary, the book is grounded in research and real-world insights and provides a roadmap for revitalizing churches, embracing change, and leading with purpose.
The online gathering is part of a new series that invites Fuller alumni and friends to engage in literary conversations focused on hope, healing and transformation through recent works by Fuller Seminary faculty and staff.
Powell serves as Executive Director of the Fuller Youth Institute and Chief of Leadership Formation at Fuller. Mulder is the seminary’s assistant chief of leadership formation and executive director of FULLER Equip. Chang is executive director of the TENx10 Collaboration at Fuller Seminary, a movement aimed at reaching ten million young people with the gospel over ten years.
