The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino is set to begin its Twilight Garden Strolls series on Sunday, June 30. This lovely family-friendly, after-hours event will allow visitors to explore the gardens during evening hours, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The series, running on select Sundays through Aug. 18, offers a rare opportunity to experience The Huntington’s renowned botanical collections after regular closing time. Guests can bring bottled water and blankets to relax on the lawn while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.

Most gardens will remain open for the Twilight Garden Strolls, providing a unique perspective on the grounds during twilight hours. However, certain areas, including the library, art galleries, The Rose Hills Foundation Conservatory for Botanical Science, and the Helen and Peter Bing Children’s Garden, will be closed during the time of the event.

Visitors will have limited access to dining and shopping facilities during the strolls. The Huntington has not specified which particular dining or retail options will be available during these evening events.

Admission prices vary, with adult tickets priced at $20 and discounted rates available for seniors, military personnel, students, and youth. Children under four years old can enter free of charge. Tickets can be purchased for the Twilight Garden Strolls at https://huntington.org/twilight-garden-strolls.

The event series will continue on July 7, 14, and 28, as well as Aug. 11 and 18. The final two dates in August will end slightly earlier, at 7:30 p.m. instead of 8:00 p.m.

Located at 1151 Oxford Road in San Marino, The Huntington is a cultural institution known for its extensive library, art collections, and botanical gardens.
