This Sunday, September 12, is Grandparents Day at Kidspace Children’s Museum, “the perfect place to spend some quality time with your grandparents and grandfriends,” a Kidspace announcement said.

On Sunday, senior tickets are just $1 as Kidspace celebrates Grandparents Day between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Kids and grandfriends also get a special surprise made just for them. They can also watch Kidspace’s roaming Balloon Twister, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and be amazed as simple balloons turn into handcrafted whimsical sculptures.

Grandfriends tickets at $1 are limited in quantity and are available on Sunday only.

All guests, including children, are required to have a timed-entry online ticket to enter Kidspace Children’s Museum.

“Due to the large number of children who visit Kidspace and are not yet eligible for COVID-19 vaccines, the Museum will continue to require face coverings for all guests age 2 and over, regardless of vaccination status, until further notice,” a Kidspace advisory on their website says.

Visitors are also advised to review Kidspace’s safety and experience information, including mask requirements, before reserving your tickets. These are available on www.kidspacemuseum.org/visit/hours-and-admission.

Members enjoy free admission through the same system along with dedicated reservation capacity all year.

Kidspace Children’s Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and closed on Monday. First Fridays of every month are free Fridays, and admission is free for everyone from 4 to 7 p.m. Reserved tickets are required, though.

On Saturday, September 18, the Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Reptile Menagerie, featuring rad reptiles from The Reptile Zoo.

Kidspace Children’s Museum is located at 480 N. Arroyo Blvd. in Pasadena. Always remember to check the Museum calendar for any changes in scheduled events and admission policies. Visit www.kidspacemuseum.org.
