LA Opera: Music to Remember

Published on Jun 14, 2021

The Pasadena Senior Center is bringing L.A. Opera’s “Music to Remember” to its members and the general Pasadena audience via Zoom at 11 a.m. every Tuesday, starting June 22.

With Music to Remember, LA Opera connects a variety of artists who will be performing each week. Music to Remember gets its inspiration from the powerful – and scientifically proven – role that music plays in restoring the body, soul, and memory.

In the program, LA Opera teaching artist Nandani Sinha leads virtual performances in hospitals and healthcare centers around Los Angeles.

These virtual recitals feature familiar songs and beloved classics, and you can send in some special requests, too. Of course, singing along is always encouraged.

To get the Zoom link, call the Pasadena Senior Center at (626) 795-4331 or visit www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org/lectures-events/online-events/3242-la-opera-music-to-remember.
