The show, running September 13 to 21, features poster-size still-life paintings that emerged from Beach’s multi-year study of flowers across various media including soft pastel, ink and oil paint.
“Beauty, Joy and Abundance reverberate in these fresh, colorful paintings,” according to gallery materials describing the exhibition.
Beach, who holds degrees from Rhode Island School of Design (BFA) and UC Irvine (MFA), has previously exhibited abstract works at notable venues including Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects and Rosamund Felsen Gallery.

The artist currently licenses work through ArtLifting, a national B-Corp that represents artists living with disabilities.
An opening reception on Friday, September 13 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. will be followed by a jazz open mic from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Beach, who also performs jazz, will donate 5% of art sales to JEXA (Jazz Excellence Awards), which assists youth musicians.
Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. September 13 to 14 and 17 to 21, or by appointment.
