Equestfest event promises demonstrations of trick riding and roping before New Year’s Day procession

Get a sneak peek at the 2025 Rose Parade’s top equestrian spectacles at Equestfest this Sunday, Dec. 29. The Los Angeles Equestrian Center will host a five-hour extravaganza featuring thrilling demonstrations by the participating horse units. From trick riding to roping, Equestfest promises a thrilling afternoon for the whole family.

The five-hour event, billed as the best family equestrian event of the year, will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Burbank facility.

The main equestrian performances, from noon to 2 p.m., will showcase talented riders executing precision drills, dances, and specialized trick riding and roping demonstrations.

General admission tickets, available exclusively through online purchase with no onsite sales, are priced at $25 per person, with free entry for children aged five and under.

A VIP package, requiring tickets for guests of all ages at $50 per person, includes reserved seating, a commemorative seat cushion provided by Sharp Seating, and additional surprise benefits.

Visitors can explore the vendor court featuring food stands, merchandise displays, static exhibitions, and observe equestrians warming up in designated rings throughout the event grounds.

The Los Angeles Equestrian Center, located at 480 Riverside Drive in Burbank, will charge $20 for parking, with payment accepted only at the venue site.

Event officials confirm the box office will open at 9:30 a.m., with gates admitting attendees starting at 10 a.m., maintaining operations regardless of weather conditions.
