True shopping ninjas typically wait for Labor Day Weekend to buy big-ticket items like furniture, mattresses and appliances. Those are some of the stars of Labor Day sales, which are second only to post-Thanksgiving Black Friday for drawing big credit-card-wielding crowds.

No need to stress over pandemic concerns interfering with your bargain shopping. Many stores have you covered, offering online sales or Zoom consultations with contact-free curbside pickup or delivery.

FURNITURE

Ahoy, bungalow dwellers! Fedde Furniture, which boasts “the largest display of Stickley furniture,” is having a storewide sale this weekend. This would be a great time to pick up some stunning East Colorado side chairs from Stickley’s Pasadena Bungalow Collection.

And don’t forget about sales on patio furniture, as temperatures dip in much of the rest of the country – but not here, not yet. SoCal summers stretch well into October. So lounge like a pasha on Patioworld Classics sectionals without anteing up for sales tax through Labor Day.
