Remainders Creative Reuse, a Pasadena non-profit thrift store for donated fabric, paper and other arts and crafts supplies, is hosting an Open Sewing Meetup on Thursday, Dec. 22, at their shop at 787 E. Washington Blvd.
It’s an evening where you can join fellow sewists and make whatever your heart desires.
“Come to chat and hang out, share tips, discuss projects, help each other through challenges and of course make!” the announcement about the event said. “Bring your WIP’s (‘work in progress,’ if you’ve started on something but haven’t finished it) or start something new. Remainders Creative Reuse (RCR) hope you will join the community of makers!”
Remainders Creative Reuse is encouraging participants to bring their own machines, but if you need to use one of its machines, you must be experienced, as there is no instruction.
Registration is at $10. If you need to cancel after registering, send an email to remainderspas@gmail.org within 24 hours of the class to receive a full refund, or you can also choose to donate the class fee.
