The Pasadena Senior Center presents its own beloved Pam Kay and the Tap Chicks bringing their exuberance, stylish dancing, and Kay’s famous bad jokes to the center’s patio at 2 p.m. Thursday for a special edition of “Music on the Patio.”

The Tap Chicks are a delightfully entertaining dance group which Kay leads as a teacher and professional entertainer.

A multi-talented and vivacious veteran Las Vegas entertainer, Kay shares her expertise with students by creating Broadway-style routines for tap and jazz. Her act has delighted audiences for over 20 years.

Since its 1997 nonprofit inception, the Tap Chicks have stuck to their mission of promoting health, longevity, and the quality of life through dance. Delighting audiences young and old, they perform versatile dance styles, from Broadway, country, jazz, and popular music, which has made them successful for many years with many return engagements.

In addition to the group’s lively routines, Kay herself adds variety to the show as she sings, plays banjo, and performs her unique comedy act.

Walk-ins to the free activity will be admitted if space is available. Reservations are encouraged through www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org/lectures-events/online-events-2/3655-music-on-the-patio-pam-kay-and-the-tap-chicks.
