Pasadena Heritage’s signature community celebration, the Colorado Street Bridge Party, returns on Saturday, July 15 from 6:00 PM – 11:30 PM. Held on the historic bridge, which is closed to traffic for the evening, the party includes live music on three stages, fun activities for kids, a whole variety of no-host food choices, craft beers, wine, cocktails and a display of rare automobiles — a party of the ages for all ages!
After a five-year hiatus, Pasadena Heritage is thrilled to bring back this beloved and uniquely Pasadena tradition. Dating back to 1978, the Colorado Street Bridge Party is held in celebration of this historic Pasadena icon and efforts to preserve it.
While strolling over the Arroyo Seco, party-goers will enjoy dancing to live music from the Jimbonaires, Upstream, Mercy and the Merkettes, and Art Deco Entertainment. Vintage and rare cars will be on display with children’s activities available as well. Festive foods from local eateries like Mijares Mexican Restaurant, Robin’s Wood Fire BBQ, Pam’s Sweet Shack and Funnel Cakes can be enjoyed with craft beers from Craftsman Brewing and other microbreweries, specialty cocktails, hand-picked wine varietals and so much more!
Funds raised from the Bridge Party support Pasadena Heritage’s historic preservation programs and advocacy throughout the city. Purchase your tickets in advance for special early-bird pricing, or receive FREE tickets by signing up as a volunteer or becoming a new member in June!
