The Pasadena Humane’s 2025 Calendar Photo Contest has concluded, raising more than $64,000 for animals in need and selecting winning entries to be featured in the upcoming year’s calendar.

The contest, which invited pet owners to submit photos of their animals, saw widespread participation and resulted in a fundraising success for the organization.

First Place Cat: Murray

Winners were chosen across three categories – dogs, cats, and critters – with first, second, and third place selections in each, as well as three additional judges’ choice picks.

Leland Haaga, approximately 15 years old and rescued from the streets, was adopted from Pasadena Humane 11 years ago and earned the distinction of Top Vote-Getter in the contest.

In the cat category, Murray took First Place, while Tiger Lily, described as a friendly and sociable bearded dragon, secured the First Place Critters spot.
