The Pasadena Public Library, in partnership with the Pasadena Public Health Department, is set to host a virtual Parent Social Hour on Thursday, November 9, from noon to 1 p.m. The event aims to provide parents and children of all ages with an opportunity to learn about resources for children and share peer support in a welcoming environment.

The library offers a variety of resources and services for parents and children. These include tours of the library, storytime, and information on library resources and technology.
The library’s Research & Learn section provides access to journal, newspaper, and magazine articles online, as well as resources for language learning, car repair, hobbies, genealogy, and more. Subject guides have been created to help users find resources on different topics, including Pasadena history research and law research.
The Jefferson Branch Library Children and Teen Services offer programs, materials, and services for children, teens, and their families. The library also offers STEAM kits, board games, video games, and other circulating collections. Staff can assist with Pasadena history research and questions, and all branch locations offer public Internet computers for use with a Pasadena Public Library card, as well as circulating chromebooks and hotspots.
The Kids section of the Pasadena Public Library website provides information on upcoming events, including storytime for children ages 0-2 and their caregivers. The library also offers a collection of eBooks, eAudiobooks, and digital magazines for children.
