The nation’s leading dinosaur-themed entertainment experience, Jurassic Quest, will bring its collection of meticulously crafted prehistoric creatures to the Pasadena Convention Center this January.

The three-day event, running from Jan. 3 to 5, Friday through Sunday, promises attendees from ages “3 to 103” an immersive journey featuring animatronic dinosaurs designed to appear “realer-than-real,” according to the organizers.

Visitors to the 130,000-square-foot LEED Gold Certified facility, located about 10 miles from downtown Los Angeles, will encounter numerous interactive attractions, including rideable dinosaur models where “kids always find their favorite.”

The exhibition, which bills itself as The #1 Dinosaur Experience in North America, will showcase prominent prehistoric species including the Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus Rex within the Convention Center’s exhibit hall.

Young attendees can participate in dinosaur-themed bounce houses, some specifically designated for small children, with required socks available for purchase on-site, along with free craft stations offering paper dinosaur activities.

Interactive elements include fossil excavation stations where aspiring paleontologists can uncover Triceratops and T-rex fossils, while playful adolescent dinosaurs roam freely, interacting with visitors throughout the venue.

The experience features encounters with animatronic baby dinosaurs, including Triceratops and Camarasaurus specimens, complemented by a crafts table that remains free and open to all participants.

The event’s location in Pasadena’s Civic Center District provides convenient access to more than 1,200 hotel rooms within walking distance, and an additional 1,300 rooms available a short ride away.
