Red Hen Press’s Annual Champagne Luncheon fundraiser, usually held in person at a venue in Pasadena each year, is virtual and coming directly to you! The 27th Annual Luncheon will be hosted on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time on the Zoom platform and will feature appearances by some of the leading names in literature, including Kingsley Tufts Award-winning Afaa Weaver, New York Times Editors Choice author Maurice Carlos Ruffin, and renowned feminist poetry legend Judy Grahn.
The event will feature readings from featured authors Afaa Weaver, Martha Cooley, and Kazim Ali, a spotlight on students from our Writing in the Schools program, and breakout sessions with additional special guests.
Sponsorship opportunities are now available from $1800 to $5000, which include 10 admissions to the virtual gala for you and your guests, invitations to separate break-out sessions with one of Red Hen Press’ featured readers of your choice, gift packages mailed to you and each of your guests ahead of the event, and autographed books, broadsides, and advertising opportunities in the event’s digital tribute book. Sponsors will also receive a complimentary bottle of champagne, specially delivered to enjoy during the event, and sponsors get first choice on which breakout room they’d like to attend, with our incredible list of featured authors.
