The Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena is opening its gates to the public starting Friday for guided in-person tours through the original 1922 locker room, current locker rooms, the press box, the Court of Champions, and other facilities within the historic structure.
This is an unforgettable opportunity to go behind the scenes of “America’s Stadium,” a National Historic Landmark, where countless moments in history have been made.
Throughout the tour, visitors will learn about the iconic history that has taken place at the Rose Bowl, from the Four Horsemen of Notre Dame to Brandi Chastain’s game-winning kick in the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final.
“Tours will not only be an outdoor excursion, but a historical learning experience that you will never forget,” the Rose Bowl said in an announcement.
After registering for the tour, plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start time. Allow up to two hours for the visit. Wear proper attire, including shoes and shirts, at all times. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Since portions of the tour are outdoors, please check the local weather report before leaving for the stadium.
On Friday, there’s a 10:30 a.m. tour and another one at 12:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20 per adult, and $17 for children ages 5 to 12 as well as for seniors ages 65 and above.
VIP Tours are also available for groups of up to 17 people. At a $200 flat rate, VIP Tours can be booked any day of the week and at any time. Upon arrival, you and your group will receive an exclusive Rose Bowl Stadium pin to commemorate your time at the stadium.
