The South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Summer Arts Crawl on Saturday, July 13, from 4 to 9 p.m. The free event will feature over 20 participating businesses along Mission and Fair Oaks offering a variety of attractions and activities.
Visitors can expect art exhibitions, live music performances, interactive crafting activities, and open houses throughout the business district. Sidewalk sales, food and drink specials will also be available as part of the neighborhood celebration.
The Arts Crawl is designed as a “neighborhood night on the town” event, encouraging residents and visitors to explore local businesses. It’s part of a series of quarterly events organized by the Chamber to promote community engagement and support local commerce.
Founded in 2004, the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce has grown from a borrowed office in a local bank building to a prominent organization on Mission Street. It now plays a key role in the city’s economic development, working alongside city staff.
The Chamber’s efforts extend beyond the Arts Crawl. It also organizes the Eclectic Music Festival & Arts Crawl, described as a one-of-a-kind grassroots event that brings various art forms to the city streets, including bands, musicians, artists, food, galleries, and activities for kids of all ages.
The Chamber actively advocates for local businesses and works on bringing in the right businesses to augment existing ones. It has several very active committees and serves on several others, demonstrating its commitment to the local business community.
