Playhouse Village sizzles this summer with the return of Jazz in the Park presented by Ice House Comedy Club, now a two-month concert series at Playhouse Village Park. The concerts take place every Sunday evening, June 4 through July 30, 2023 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Van Halen Stage at Playhouse Village Park, 701 E Union St. The Jazz in the Park concert series is free and open to the public.
The nine-week series features an eclectic roster of local and notable jazz performers such as the blue-note jazz optometrist Elliott Caine Quartet, successful contemporary bassist and songwriter Michael Haggins Band, and the infectious Latin rhythms of Susie Hansen Latin Jazz Trio among other performers. From blues to Brazilian and smooth jazz, the free Jazz in the Park concert series has something for all jazz lovers. The full concert schedule is listed below.
