In a city renowned for its glitz, glamour and creative spirit, the annual Spring Beverly Hills Art Show transforms four blocks of a lush public park into an open-air gallery teeming with artistic expression Sunday.

Jaunt over to the 90210 to savor this beloved community event bringing together a diverse collection of over 230 artists, both local and from around the globe, to exhibit their works amidst the picturesque greenery of Beverly Gardens Park.

Now in its 51st year, what began as a modest arts and crafts fair has blossomed into a must-see cultural happening. For this weekend, the stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard between the iconic palm-lined avenues of Rodeo Drive and Rexford Drive morphs into a vibrant artistic hub, expected to draw over 40,000 visitors.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, the final day of the show, art enthusiasts can meander through the park to peruse paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, glass, jewelry and more, representing a panoply of styles and media across 11 categories. The juried show promises something for every artistic taste and budget, with pieces from emerging and established artists alike.

Beyond the visual feast of the art displays, the Spring Beverly Hills Art Show offers a full sensory experience. Gourmet food trucks are on hand to tantalize palates, while a beer and wine garden featuring live musical performances provides a spot to relax and imbibe. For young creatives, a children’s art and crafts activity area offers hands-on fun.

“This is a fabulous art show held in the heart of Beverly Hills on Santa Monica Boulevard,” gushes one Yelp reviewer attending this weekend’s event. Many others echo the sentiment, praising the show’s picturesque open-air setting amidst Beverly Gardens Park’s manicured grounds and the impressive variety of art on offer.

Artists from across California, other U.S. states and countries applied to participate in this year’s show, with the competitive selection process having concluded on Feb. 21 following an initial Feb. 14 deadline. Organizers curated the roster to showcase a balance of mediums, styles and price points appealing to serious collectors and casual art lovers alike.
