The Yoga Expo Los Angeles 2025 will take place on Sunday, April 13, at the Pasadena Convention Center, following a postponement due to the facility’s use as an evacuation center during recent wildfires in the area. The full-day event, which has themes like “UNITY” and “Believe” reflected in its promotional materials, aims to foster connection and healing through yoga, meditation, and holistic wellness activities.
“The Yoga Expo is committed to creating a transformative atmosphere that fosters connection and healing,” event organizers stated in promotional materials, highlighting the event’s focus on community recovery following recent challenges posed by local fires.
Running from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the expo will feature various yoga and meditation sessions suitable for all experience levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Attendees can participate in workshops led by industry experts including DJ Bumi with “Advocating the Journey of Deep Healing and Love Through Music,” Janelle Corpuz Hethcoat presenting “All Frequencies No Prescriptions — The Medicine of Sound in Today’s Yoga Spaces,” Sianna Sherman offering “Rasa Yoga: Heart Fire Vision ~ Backbends, Breath and Vision,” and MC YOGI leading an inspiring yoga flow session at 3:00 p.m.
The event will showcase over 125 conscious exhibitors in a marketplace focused on holistic wellness, offering yoga apparel, accessories, health products, organic foods and beverages sampling, and sustainable initiatives. Keynote speakers and panel discussions will address topics such as health, wellness, advanced technologies, longevity, and philosophy.
“Attendees from across the U.S. and around the world will gather with influential educators, yoga and meditation experts, and specialized schools,” according to event materials. Participants can “earn certificates, engage in workshops, and gain practical training in effective holistic strategies.”
Family-friendly activities include a dedicated “Family & Little Yogis Play Area” offering yoga sessions, mindfulness exercises, and interactive activities for children. Children under 12 can attend for free. The expo welcomes individuals of all ages and experience levels, with several sessions specifically designed for beginners.
The Yoga Expo not only promotes wellness but also contributes to the local economy by attracting attendees from various regions, providing a platform for local businesses and practitioners to showcase their offerings. Studies show that regular yoga practice is associated with improved flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular health, while meditation has been linked to reduced stress, enhanced emotional well-being, and better mental clarity.
