The third annual Head in the Clouds music festival is coming to Pasadena on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 6 and 7, a two-day extravaganza featuring some of the most popular Los Angeles-based Asian musicians and bands from across multiple genres.

Organized by 88 Rising and Goldenvoice Productions, the festival will begin at 2 p.m. both days at Brookside Park, located beside the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Head in the Clouds also brings back 626 Night Market as the official food curator. 626 Night Market, L.A.’s beloved foodie event inspired by night markets of Asia, started collaborating with 88 Rising at the 2019 Head in the Clouds event.

The lineup as of Oct. 31 includes, in alphabetical order, Japanese girl group Atarashii Gakko, R&B singer and rapper Audrey Nuna, Filipino-British singer-songwriter Beabadoobee, K-Pop star CL, and Korean-Australian rapper, director and composer DPR Ian.

Others in the lineup include deejay and music producer Elephante, indie rock band Japanese Breakfast, Indonesian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer Rich Brian, and the Asian-Latinx girl group The Linda Lindas, whose viral “Racist, Sexist Boy” gained them fans across the U.S. and landed them a record deal with L.A.’s Epitaph Records.

Almost 30 bands and performers will be featured in the festival, which launched in 2018 at Los Angeles State Historic Park.

Tickets are $249 for the two-day general admission and $399 for the VIP pass.

Brookside Park is located at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive in Pasadena.
