The 15th annual Fashion Week El Paseo in Greater Palm Springs kicks off this weekend, and runs through March 26, at The Gardens El Paseo in Palm Desert. It’s the West Coast’s largest consumer fashion show, and, we hear, it’s just one part of the buzzing fashion scene in the area.
If you’re headed east this weekend, here are some fashion finds in Greater Palm Springs, from new shops and designer finds to thrift and vintage shopping, to go along with that whole Fashion Week thing.
Kyle + Shahida, from “Real Housewife” Kyle Richards, features clothing made from 100 percent plant-based Bemberg Cupro Fabrics, which is biodegradable vegan silk, flowy, light, durable and luxurious, perfect for desert weather.
Maybe also check out the Trina Turk flagship store? The iconic store is housed in a 1960s Albert Frey original building, true to Greater Palm Springs mid-century modern design aesthetics.
The El Paseo Shopping and Dining District in Palm Desert, one of our favorite spots in Greater Palm Springs, features over 300 shops, from Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. to Escada and Ralph Lauren, paired with numerous restaurants and cafes for the perfect busy shopping afternoon.
There are also lots of unique local boutiques, vintage finds, and outlet malls for snagging great deals all over Greater Palm Springs.
