In a late summer/early fall week, we experienced firsthand the meticulous attention to detail of this charming 4-star boutique accommodation, following its extensive renovation.
And, if I’m not mistaken, we were the very first guests of the hotel in its new state, as a number of staff members confirmed to us.
The hotel’s façade exudes classic Parisian charm, seamlessly integrating with its upscale neighborhood between Place de l’Étoile and Place du Trocadéro. Inside, the ambiance is a happy blend of contemporary design and elegance.
The 44 rooms and junior suites are thoughtfully designed, featuring custom furnishings and soothing color palettes for a serene retreat from the city’s bustle.
Our room, adorned with delicate foliage motifs and organic lines, offered a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere.
The plush bedding and modern amenities ensured a restful stay, (because who doesn’t love sleeping in hotel beds?) while the balcony provided a perfect perch to observe the romantic Parisian streets below.
Mornings at Hôtel L’Ormaie begin with a delectable breakfast spread, emphasizing fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The selection ranges from flaky pastries to savory options, catering to diverse palates (I had the pancakes). The honesty bar, a charming feature of the hotel, invites guests to enjoy a curated selection of beverages in an intimate setting, fostering a sense of home away from home.
The pièce de résistance (sorry) of our stay was clearly the hotel’s spa. The spa draws subtle inspiration from the area’s artesian wells, creating an environment that invites guests to immerse themselves in relaxation. The spa offers a range of facilities, including a heated indoor pool, sauna, and steam room. Each reservation includes a complimentary 45-minute private session, allowing guests to enjoy the amenities in complete privacy—a rare luxury in urban hotels.
The pool area, with its play of shade and light, exudes a tranquil ambiance, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploration, or a nice way to begin your day.

Throughout our stay, the staff exemplified warmth and professionalism, attending to our needs with genuine care. Their insightful recommendations enhanced our Parisian experience, guiding us to nearby attractions and hidden gems. The hotel’s primo location is close to Paris’ familiar landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, along with luxury boutiques along the Champs D’ Elysee
