Pasadena police officers arrested a 29-year-old man from Altadena after he was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run collision early Thursday morning.
Lt. Mark Goodman said the incident happened at about 12:12 a.m.
“We responded to the area of Colorado and Orange Grove in regards to a report of a hit-and-run collision,” Goodman said. “Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from a wrist injury.”
The injured woman was a 39-year-old Studio City resident, he said. The victim described the suspect and officers located the man walking northbound on Orange Grove from the scene of the collision.
He was detained without incident.
“The suspect was subsequently arrested for felony hit and run and he was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage,” Goodman continued. “He also sustained injuries in the collision, was transported to a local hospital for treatment and then subsequently booked in the city jail for felony DUI and felony hit and run.”
