Kenneth McDade, father of Kendrec McDade, the Azusa teenager killed by Pasadena police responding to a false 911 report of an armed robbery on March 24, went on Los Angeles radio station KJLH-FM’s Front Page show Tuesday to raise money to bury their son.
The McDades say they need to raise $10,000 to cover burial costs. The service is just days away, set for Saturday at an Altadena church.

Carson Councilmember Mike Gipson and KJLH were scheduled to present the McDades with donations collected live on the air.
The family says a memorial fund has been started at Chase Bank in the name of Kendrec McDade to help pay for the burial, and provided the following information to those interested in making donations:
