Mike and Jane Osborn, owners of the Pie ‘N Burger Restaurant located at 913 E. California Blvd., have purchased the adjacent 12,000-square-foot prime signalized corner parcel on the northeast corner of South Lake Avenue, according to a realtor involved in the transaction.
The move will allow Pie ‘N Burger Restaurant to expand and add more parking.
In addition, Bill Ukropina and Kathi Constanzo from Coldwell Banker Commercial in Pasadena are actively searching for a retail business or other user to lease the 1,300-square-foot building now being renovated.
Ukropina represented the Osborns in the sale. According to public records, the title listed Hindoyan Family Trust as the owners of the property.
The Hindoyan family owned Burger Continental, formerly located on Lake Avenue, which was shut down in 2015.
The corner parcel is one of the most prominent in Pasadena. The corner has a very high traffic count and will benefit both Pie N Burger and the new retail or other users who will occupy the empty 1300-square-foot building soon.
That building will have 10 parking spaces.
Ukropina and Constanzo represented Pie ‘N Burger on the purchase.
