A Pasadena man was arrested Monday night after allegedly pointing a handgun at another man during an argument, according to police.
Andrew Bowen, 43, was taken into custody without incident and charged with a felony after the altercation in the 50 block of North Oak Avenue, Pasadena Police Lieutenant Matt Campeau said.
Officers responded to a call about an armed subject at 8:39 p.m., Campeau said. The victim, a 40-year-old Pasadena man, told police that Bowen had brandished a firearm while in the suspect’s apartment.
Campeau said that the victim had followed the suspect to his apartment. While inside the apartment, the suspect and victim purportedly got into a verbal argument. During the argument, the suspect retrieved a firearm and pointed it at the victim, according to the report.
After a few seconds, Bowen left the residence and was immediately detained by officers, according to Campeau. Police said they recovered a black handgun at the scene.
No injuries were reported in the incident. Campeau said that the suspect and victim knew each other.
Bowen was arrested on felony charges, Campeau said.
