The Altadena Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association will commemorate its 101st anniversary with a western-themed celebration featuring awards for local business and community leaders.
The “Blazing Trails: Local Businesses for 101 Years” event, scheduled for Feb. 7 at 6 p.m., will be held at the Altadena Town and Country Club at 2290 Country Club Drive.
The Chamber will honor Sidecca of Altadena as Business of the Year and Michael Bicay as Citizen of the Year during its annual Installation and Awards Dinner. Former public officials Chris Holden and Anthony Portantino will receive special recognition for their service to the Altadena community.
Established in 1924, the Chamber has focused on promoting economic, commercial and civic interests in the Altadena area.
The evening will include live entertainment, a live auction and dinner. The celebration aims to highlight the organization’s history and recognize key contributors to the chamber’s development.
