Armenian Cultural Festival to Make Debut in Pasadena, Showcasing Rich Heritage

In a celebration of Armenian culture, bringing together rich traditions, arts, and cuisine of Armenia and its Diaspora, Pasadena’s Victory Park will host the inaugural Pasadena Armenian Festival on Saturday, Nov. 16, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The event, taking place at 2575 Paloma Street, aims to connect Armenian culture with the broader San Gabriel Valley community, inviting visitors to become part of the cultural experience.

The free community celebration, supported by 28 Armenian organizations across the San Gabriel Valley, will feature performances by the Element Band Instrumental Quartet among other cultural presentations.

Festival organizers have assembled a program highlighting Armenian culinary traditions. Food trucks will be serving traditional and modern takes on beloved Armenian dishes, as artisans display crafts, artwork and jewelry.

Children’s activities will be available in a dedicated play area, while performances from local students, choirs, dance academies, karate schools and music institutes will showcase their skills.

Among the participating organizations are the Armenian Cultural Foundation, American Armenian Rose Float Association, and various Armenian religious institutions, schools, and cultural societies from the Pasadena area.

Parking will be available at multiple locations including street parking, the park’s main lot, and the Armenian General Benevolent Union parking facility, according to festival organizers.

The celebration represents a collaborative effort to bridge Armenian culture with the broader community, emphasizing unity, strength of community, and the magic of shared experiences.
