This sermon was delivered by Robert Niles, on Sunday August 24, 2014 at the Neighborhood Church.
Robert Niles started attending Neighborhood Church soon after returning to the Los Angeles area in 2000. He and his wife have been members here for nearly 10 years. A native of downtown Los Angeles — yes, downtown — Robert returned to LA from points east to work for the Los Angeles Times, though today he works full-time as editor of ThemeParkInsider.com, which he founded 15 years ago as an online travel guide.
A former Walt Disney World cast member, Robert once rescued the future President of France after he’d gotten lost in the queue at Pirates of the Caribbean. Perhaps of greater interest to the Neighborhood congregation, however, Robert once revealed the answer for “Bluff the Listener” on NPR’s “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me.” Robert hopes you’ll enjoy all that he does tell you today.
