Bethany Church of Sierra Madre: Passion Week Events

Bethany Church of Sierra Madre would like its Passion Week celebrations this year to be true outreach events. It will be printing up invitations for parishioners to take and to please use to invite their neighbors and friends.

Schedule of Events:

Palm Sunday – April 1 – 8 am & 11 am Services, with Sunday School / ABF classes at 9:35 am

Maundy Thursday – April 5 – Special Maundy Thursday Celebration at 7 pm in the Sanctuary. Our Service will include a special presentation by Kevin White, “Marcus: The Roman Centurion – A Passion Week Oration.” It is a moving, impactful sketch about a Roman Centurion who helps to crucify Christ, and how he is moved by the presence of the Holy Spirit and the truth of Christ’s godhood.

Good Friday – April 6 – At Sierra Madre Congregational Church at 7 pm – Pastor Phil will be speaking.

Easter Sunday – April 8 – 8 am & 11 am Services, with a family breakfast being served throughout the normal café and ABF times, between 9:15 and 10:45. Drop in any time during that period. There will be an Egg Hunt for the kids starting at 10:30 out on the lawn. If anyone knows people in the community who might not normally come to church, this is a great opportunity – invite them to the breakfast and egg hunt!
